An innovative initiative is taking place in the Philippines to bring sustainable lighting to homes in impoverished communities. Empty plastic bottles are installed in the roof, filled with water and bleach they refract sunlight. These “solar light bulbs” provide light equivalent to a 55watt light bulb.

For those of you interested in Sherlock’s use of a Mind Palace in ‘The Hounds of Baskerville’, you may find this Open University interview with Derren Brown enlightening (skip to 1 minute in for details on Memory Palaces.) Derren also discussed this subject in more depth in his book ‘Tricks of the Mind’.
Although many people have credited Derren for inspiring Mark Gatiss to include this in his episode in Sherlock series 2, he in fact confirmed on Twitter, “I first came across it in ‘Hannibal’, but Derren has been a help in so many ways.”

When Sally acted on the “evidence” planted by Moriarty she is called a “bitch” when Lestrade acts on the same evidence it’s because he was “deceived”. They were both deceived. If Sally hadn’t acted as she did I would have questioned her ethics and morals. As it is, I respect her. People are self-inserting far too much hate on a character that does not deserve it.
There is nothing to add to this.
I think the cinema will become my place of permanent residence next year.
